on Fuel subsidy
« on: June 22, 2012, 11:39:31 PM »
The double-speak from the Federal Government officials about the outcome of the fuel-subsidy probe does not surprise the average Nigerian! Usually when the government wants to dogde their responsibility, they first start testing the opinions of the public! They want to find loop-holes (lawyers call them legal technicallities!) to exploit, in order to throw away the baby and the "dirty" water! It will not surprise me one bit if the government at the end of the day throws the probe report into the trashcan! They have done that before, so they can do it again. But my advice to president Jonathan is that the people the gods want to deal with, they first make them deaf! There is a gathering storm of problems fast eating deep into the fabrics of this beleaguered nation, and all we get from the presidency is vague reassurrance! Anybody who thinks that the problems we are having now are not capable of disintegrating this country is obviously have delusion of grandiose!! Like i advice earlier on when the BOKO HARAM issue started, Mr. president NEEDS help from those that can offer them, irrespective of party affiliation! Because when the ill-wind blows, and we are already seeing signs, nobody will be spared!! A sttich in time saves nine!!!

Now that the fuel subsidy report is out, and some people have been indicted, i expect the Federal Government ,led by president Jonathan to write his name on gold by making sure that the report is thoroughly perused, and the areas that are implimentable fully implimented to serve as a deterrant to others who may think they can use their official positions to crumble the nation's economy and go scort free! Enough of this vicious circle of inefficiency and gross corruption in our nation!!
