clip Jihad
October 17, 2014, 03:11:30 PM by omonaija
In Arabic, the word jihād is a noun meaning "struggle" or "resisting". A person engaged in jihad is called a mujahid, the plural of which is mujahideen. The word jihad appears frequently in the Quran, often in the idiomatic expression "striving in the way of God (al-jihad fi sabil Allah)".
Muslims and scholars do not all agree on its definition. Within the context of the classical Islamic law, it refers to struggle against those who do not believe in the Islamic God (Allah) and do not acknowledge the submission to Muslims, and so is often translated as "Holy War", although this term is controversial. According to the Dictionary of Islam  and Islamic historian Bernard Lewis, in the large majority of cases jihad has a military meaning. Javed Ghamidi states that there is consensus amongst Islamic scholars that the concept of jihad will always include armed struggle against wrong doers. It was generally supposed that the order for a general war could only be given by the Caliph (an office that was claimed by the Ottoman sultans), but Muslims who did not acknowledge the spiritual authority of the Caliphate (which has been vacant since 1923)—such as non-Sunnis and non-Ottoman Muslim states—always looked to their own rulers for the proclamation of a jihad. There has been in fact no universal warfare by Muslims on non-believers since the early caliphate. Some proclaimed Jihad by claiming themselves as mahdi, e.g. the Sudanese Mahommed Ahmad in 1882.
Others have given the word wider definitions. Many observers—both Muslim  and non-Muslim—talk of jihad having two meanings: an inner spiritual struggle—the "greater jihad"; and an outer physical struggle against the enemies of Islam—the "lesser jihad"—which may take a violent or non-violent form.
Jihad is an important religious duty for Muslims. A minority among the Sunni scholars sometimes refer to this duty as the sixth pillar of Islam, though it occupies no such official status. In Twelver Shi'a Islam, however, Jihad is one of the ten Practices of the Religion
xx A muslin in Egypt killed his wife
August 28, 2014, 11:51:28 PM by life4real
A Muslim in Egypt killed his wife because she was reading the Bible and then buried her with their infant baby and an 8-year old daughter. The girls were buried alive! He then reported to the police that an uncle of his had killed his wife and kids. 15 days later, another family member died. When they went to bury him, they found the 2 little girls under the sand - ALIVE! The country was outraged over the incident, and the man is to be executed. The older girl was asked how she had survived and she said:-'A man wearing shiny white clothes, with bleeding wounds in his hands, came every day to feed us. He woke up my mum so she could nurse my sister. She was interviewed on Egyptian national TV, by a veiled Muslim woman news anchor. She said on public TV, 'This was none other than Jesus, because nobody else does things like this!' Muslims believe Isa (Jesus) would do this, but the wounds mean that He really was crucified, and it is clear also that He is alive! But, it is also clear that the child could not make up a story like this, and there is no way these children could have survived without a true miracle. Muslim leaders are going to have a hard time to figure out what to do with this, and the popularity of the Passion movie does not help matters at all! With Egypt at the centre of the media and education in the Middle East, you can be sure this story will spread. Christ is still turning the world upside down! Please let this story be shared. The Lord says, 'I will bless the person who puts his trust in me' ( Jer 17).  Please forward this story to all your contacts and God will reward you abundantly! In Mark 8:38, Jesus  said, 'Therefore whosoever shall be ashamed of Me and my Words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man shall also be ashamed of him when He comes in the glory of His Father with the holy angels'.Don't worry about whether or not the receivers of this message will respond or do anything with it, just fulfill your part.

Hijab brought me to Islam

Jessica Rhodes is a 21 year old female from Norwich, UK who works as a telesales consultant and is also a student. She was a Pagan before reverting to Islam a month ago.
She was born in 1991 and was adopted in 1993. Grew up in a small seaside town on the south east coast of England, she went to university at 19 to study for a degree in Music and she hopes to do postgraduate qualifications in counselling starting September 2013.
She has an amazing story of her reversion and how she got attracted to Islam.

New York based lady Nazma Khan started a campaign known as ‘world hijab day’.

The movement has been organised almost solely over social networking sites.

It has attracted interest from Muslims and non-Muslims in more than 50 countries across the world. For many people, the hijab is a symbol of oppression and divisiveness. It’s a visible target that often bears the brunt of a larger debate about Islam in the West. World Hijab Day is designed to counteract these controversies.

xx A Beautiful Hadith Rasulullah
July 14, 2012, 06:17:59 AM by Success Writer
A Beautiful Hadith Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said: 'When a man dies and his relatives are busy in funeral, there stands an extremely handsome man by his head.

When the dead body is shrouded, that man gets in between the shroud and the chest of the deceased. When after the burial, the people return home, 2 angels, Munkar and Nakeer(names of two special Angels), come in the grave and try to separate this handsome man so that they may be able to interrogate the dead man in privacy about his faith. But the handsome man says, 'He is my companion, he is my friend. I will not leave him alone in any case.

If you are appointed for interrogation, do your job.. I cannot leave him until I get him admitted into Paradise '. Thereafter he turns to his dead companion and says, 'I am the Qur'an, which you used to read, sometimes in a loud voice and sometimes in a low voice. Do not worry.
By Hamdallah Bint Issa Sulaimon
After the interrogation of Munkar and Naker, you will have no grief..' When the interrogation is over, the handsome man arranges for him from Al-Mala'ul A'laa (the angels in Heaven) silk bedding filled with musk.. Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said: 'On the Day of Judgement, before Allah, no other Intercessor will have a greater status than the Qur'an, neither a Prophet nor an angel.'

Please keep forwarding this 'Hadith' to all ....because Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said: 'Pass on knowledge from me even if it is only one verse'. May Allah bestow this favour on all of us. AMEEN

We are praying that the following message in the next seven days would reach at least FIVE MILLION Muslims all over the world, Insha-Allah. Please forward this message TODAY to your friends and relatives.
xx was breaking an unspoken code amongst women
May 10, 2012, 09:34:23 PM by Success Writer
A girl on the train this morning was applying her makeup. She looked so ridiculous. She was breaking an unspoken code amongst women. She was letting guys in on the secret that some women need makeup to look good. Why on Gods green earth would any woman give herself up like that?

Over the weekend I had a group of girls over and we were discussing this topic. Some things are best kept secret from fathers, brothers, husbands, etc. One friend disagreed and said the facade would wear off eventually and that's just a fact of life.

I think women should remain mysterious to their spouses at all times. Guys are simple; keeping them in the dark is not a huge, impossible feat. Allow them to believe you always smell like vanilla and spice and everything nice, always.

The guy sitting next to the girl on the train had this total look of disgust on his face. I couldn't tell if he was her boyfriend or not, but at that moment he looked so turned off by her he could have passed for her gay best friend. He looked like a child on Christmas morning who just found out Santa Claus isn't real and he has no presents because his father is in jail.

Men cannot handle the truth when it comes to their spouses looks. I realize that eventually everything gets old and he will ultimately find out your eyes are not grey, so my friends and I came up with the happy medium solution to give it your all for at least the first 2 years of marriage. After that, homeboys on his own. Hell just have to get over it.

So back to “show-and-tell-all” girl, she kept applying coat after coat after coat of mascara (she even switched tubes. How she still didn't have noticeable lashes after that is beyond me.) The guy next to her turned out to be her boyfriend. The girls friend seated across the isle outed the guy by saying, “Jill, I'm sure Greg is grossed out by this.” (Of course she noticed it, too, everyone on the train did. Hes not blind.) Greg puts his arm around Jills shoulders and gives her a hug, but the hug was so much more of a “Hey buddy, dont sweat it. Well make it to the playoffs next year.” type of a hug that lead me to believe there are just some things best kept secret from men.
xx Submitting to Allah's will
May 10, 2012, 09:30:29 PM by Success Writer
Allah says in the Holy Qur'an  8:30 "Verily they plan, but Allah also plans and Allah is the best of planners".If one thinks and ponders deeply the meaning of this verse, we learn that there is a lot of truth & profoundness in it which we seem to have omitted from our lives. We foolishly assume that it is we who can decide & control our future.

There's a joke in the same vein : How do you make God laugh? Answer: Tell Him your plans. We find many stories in the Quran about the people who lived during the Prophets' times such as that of Prophet Musa, Prophet Noah, Prophet Lut etc(May Allah's blessings be with all of them) who could not be saved in spite of having made big plans.

In recent times, The Titanic & the USSR are two great examples of what people thought to be indestructible and undefeatable but Allah showed us who the real superpower was, is & shall always remain.Every soul is indeed helpless before God's will. Sometimes even the best-laid plans fail to materialise because Allah does not will so.

From a long time, scientists, astrologers, astronomers and doctors have tried to make humans believe that they can control the future and so, keep making big plans accordingly, but each time, Allah has made them humble & proved the "brainy lot" wrong.

It is not wrong to make plans, but every plan we make should be preceded with "If Allah wills" (Insha'Allah) Abu Hurairah narrated the Prophet sallalahu alayhi wa sallam said " Allah's Prophet Sulaiman bin Dawood said 'I will sleep with seventy of my wives tonight and every one of them will conceive a child who will fight in the cause of Allah.'A companion or an angel said 'Say:If Allah wills(Insha'Allah)'.Sulaiman did not say it and forgot.None of his wives conceived except one only who delivered half a child." The Prophet then said "Had he said 'If Allah wills'. he would not have broke his oath and they would have fulfilled his need."

Truly, Allah is the only planner & the decider of all our futures. When we say the Shahadah, we testify to submit ourselves to the will of Allah. But do we really? When something does not go the way we wantit to, we accuse Allah of being "unfair" and "unjust"towards us. We cry and lament "Why me?" Naudhubillah ! When we say phrases like that, we have just contradicted what we testified in the Shahadah & so, we need to testify to the oneness of Allah once again. God forbid, if we die before doing that, we shall be risen along with the disbelievers.

We need to accept that whatever happens, good or bad, happens beacause of Allah's will.It does not always have to mean Allah is pleased with what has happened, rather it implies that it could not have happened if Allah had not willed it to happen. Many times we can not see what is in the distant future but Allah with His unaccountable wisdom & knowledge knows what is best for us. So, we need to accept every situation with patience and understanding.
When Allah takes away something from us, he is just preparing us to get ready for something even better.

And Allah Ta'ala knows best !

xx Who are my supporters towards GOD
May 10, 2012, 01:38:26 PM by Son of King
59:18. O you who believe, you shall reverence GOD, and let every soul examine what it has sent ahead for tomorrow. You shall reverence GOD; GOD is fully Cognizant of everything you do.
60:2. O you who believe, why do you say what you do not do?
61:14. O you who believe, be GOD's supporters, like the disciples of Jesus, son of Mary. When he said to them, "Who are my supporters towards GOD," they said, "We are GOD's supporters." Thus, a group from the Children of Israel believed, and another group disbelieved. We helped those who believed against their enemy, until they won.
62:9. O you who believe, when the Congregational Prayer (Salat Al-Jumu`ah) is announced on Friday, you shall hasten to the commemoration of GOD, and drop all business. This is better for you, if you only knew.
66:6. O you who believe, protect yourselves and your families from the Hellfire whose fuel is people and rocks. Guarding it are stern and powerful angels who never disobey GOD; they do whatever they are commanded to do.

xx do not follow the steps of Satan.
May 10, 2012, 01:21:43 PM by Son of King
8:29. O you who believe, if you reverence GOD, He will enlighten you, remit your sins, and forgive you. GOD possesses infinite grace.
9:34. O you who believe, many religious leaders and preachers take the people's money illicitly, and repel from the path of GOD. Those who hoard the gold and silver, and do not spend them in the cause of GOD, promise them a painful retribution.
22:77. O you who believe, you shall bow, prostrate, worship your Lord, and work righteousness, that you may succeed.
24:21. O you who believe, do not follow the steps of Satan. Anyone who follows the steps of Satan should know that he advocates evil and vice. If it were not for GOD's grace towards you, and His mercy, none of you would have been purified. But GOD purifies whomever He wills. GOD is Hearer, Knower.
33:41. O you who believe, you shall remember GOD frequently.
49:6. O you who believe, if a wicked person brings any news to you, you shall first investigate, lest you commit injustice towards some people, out of ignorance, then become sorry and remorseful for what you have done.
49:11. O you who believe, no people shall ridicule other people, for they may be better than they. Nor shall any women ridicule other women, for they may be better than they. Nor shall you mock one another, or make fun of your names. Evil indeed is the reversion to wickedness after attaining faith. Anyone who does not repent after this, these are the transgressors.
49:12. O you who believe, you shall avoid any suspicion, for even a little bit of suspicion is sinful. You shall not spy on one another, nor shall you backbite one another; this is as abominable as eating the flesh of your dead brother. You certainly abhor this. You shall observe GOD. GOD is Redeemer, Most Merciful.
